Christine Millar offers piano lessons through Millar Music Studio in Chilliwack. With degrees in music and education from Trinity Western University and UBC, she brings extensive experience as a teacher, accompanist, and performer. Christine provides supportive, engaging lessons that help students build strong musical skills while developing a lasting love for music.

Christine Millar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity Western University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. Her studies focused on piano, saxophone, and conducting a variety of ensembles. Christine began her teaching career in secondary band and choir, with one highlight being her Junior Jazz Band from Campbell River Christian School winning Gold at the West Coast Jazz Festival in Nanaimo. She later spent five years at a local school building a band program from the ground up.

Throughout her career, Christine has been involved in a wide range of musical experiences—from teaching preschool music classes to arranging and performing with a vocal jazz ensemble. She has also directed choirs, including a memorable experience leading a German choir despite not speaking the language. As an accomplished pianist, Christine has played in the pit orchestra for numerous musical theatre productions, including Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Shrek, Annie, Chicago, Sunset Boulevard, and The Drowsy Chaperone. She also enjoyed conducting the pit orchestra for Anne of Green Gables.

Christine currently owns and operates Millar Music Studio in Chilliwack, where she teaches piano and works as a pianist, accompanist, and music director. In addition to teaching, she regularly accompanies a variety of musical groups and currently serves as an accompanist and director at two local churches.
