Christine received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in music from TWU, and a Bachelor of Education from UBC. She focused on piano and saxophone, as well as conducting various ensembles. She began her career teaching secondary music, which included building a band program from the ground up at a local school.

Presently, Christine owns and operates Millar Music Studio in Chilliwack providing services as an accomplished pianist, teacher, and director.
Christine is the music director at St. Thomas Anglican Church, and she enjoys playing piano for the Chilliwack Rock Choir. For over 15 years, Christine has played piano in the pit orchestra for several musicals including Footloose, Legally Blonde, Mary Poppins, Shrek, Annie, Chicago, and many more. She has directed the orchestra for a few shows as well, including Wizard of Oz and Anne of Green Gables.
